Tie!
Ladies and gentleman, I believe we have a tie. Which is really funny because she voted for him. The tie is between Digital Bath and Crummy Mummy. Sadie missed making it a three-way tie by one vote. As we've not come up against this one before I am now open for suggestions on how to deal with a tie.
Also, if someone wins THE GREAT EXPERIMENT they are only ineligible from entering the following month. After that they can enter again. Saw that was up for discussion in comments and wanted to clarify.

I think we should have another vote just between those 2 entries.
Or you can give the contestants the option of splitting the money? If they don't want to do that you can put both up for a vote.
I like the idea of a revote between those 2 - I didn't get a chance to read either one - so perhaps you can use me as the tie breaker? ;-)
Maybe re-open the voting for 24 hours only to all those people who voted for the other entries, or any completely new voters, to choose between these two entries? That way, there is a chance of a fair vote as opposed to the money being won by whoever can get more of their own friends to re-vote for them.....
There were a lot of entries this month that I could relate to personally, and these were two of them, so it would be tough to pick one over the other. The other alternative is to split the cash, but I personally would prefer an outright winner!
I agree, a re-vote between the two entries is a great idea! :)
I think a run-off vote would be a good idea...
pick a number between one and ten....
or flip a coin - quick and easy
Hello. Yes I voted for Digital Bath as I thought it was simply brilliant writing - and better than my effort. I stand by that. Am happy for re-vote or money split - whatever you and the rest of the bloggers feel is fair...
I loved that you voted for him even though had you not you would've won.
Can I graciously bow out now to avoid getting smoked like a Philly Blunt in a re-vote?
I think they should split the money, some money is better than no money and since it's $175, they'd each get around $90.00 (okay, $87.50) which is still pretty nice. If not that, than have us vote again just between the two. Just for the record, I loved Crummy Mummy's entry, it was very moving and heartfelt. Digital Beth was great too--that's why i think they should split the money because they're both so great and they both deserve it! Thanks!
Many Blessings,
-Sarah Liz :)
If they are both graciously willing to split the money, that seems like a fair idea to me. As many have said, it was really hard to choose "the best" of this month's entries.
