I personally can't pick just one. There are three that are worthy worthy contenders.

1) Brooks: I likes it because there's the level of hardcore "gotta have it" mentality with a dash of the old "fuck you" in there, as well. Music is always some sort of guilty pleasure when it comes to what we like, what others like, what we all dislike, etc. etc. etc.. It's just got some good manic description.

2) Crummy Mummy: Also has some very good descriptive words in the opening paragraph and eventually comes to the conclusion of tabloid magazines. Regardless of how bad they are, they are good at advertising complete celebrity nonsense and they somehow know how to make you care about it. It's an odd thing to experience I think it was pretty well captured.

3) Winder: Just all around a nice development of how your mind changes over the years. Sometimes being young and doing stupid things passes you by too quickly to realize it until you've got a few more years on ya and you realize that having "fun" now consists of things like hanging out with your cat on a Friday night instead of getting shitfaced with all your friends at the trashiest apartment you can find. Just damn good.

I honestly don't care if this vote doesn't count, just more or less saying what I think of the pieces I liked...I think it should be counted as one point to each one mentioned above.
